When I watch movies or award shows that feature celebrities with their beyond perfect skin and make-up application, I cringe wonder how the heck they pulled that off. Sure, if I had a team of beauty professionals who knew how to expertly apply my face, I would look just like that, too. Unfortunately, fate was cruel, and did not give me that luxury. I have to apply it myself. (Oh, the horror!) However, as of late, I’ve discovered a secret weapon of sorts. ENTER, Miss Beautyblender, the original, of course. My Review
The awesome people over at Beautyblender were generous enough to send me a Beautyblender to review! I’m really excited to share my experience with you, as it was a positive one.
In regard to apparence, the Beautyblender is a very attractive, sweet shade of pink. In fact, many of you probably have seen this pink sponge floating around the internet, but did not realize it was Beautyblender. They also have their pure version available, if you prefer that.
What I loved about the Beautyblender:
1. It’s easy! You simply blend the foundation (liquid or powder) into your skin in seconds!
2. It’s affordable! At $20, you will find that the benefits are well worth it. It won’t break the bank, and they make wonderful Christmas presents!
3. It works! It truly creates a flawless foundation application, one that I’ve never been able to create with my fingers alone. That is impressive, my friend!
I did not receive the cleanser, so I can’t vouch for that; however, I have been using baby shampoo (which I use on my brushes), and I don’t think it works very well. So, invest in the cleanser, I think I will, as well.

The Proverbial Bottom Line
This IS a must have in your make-up bag. I used to get uneven patches of foundation on my face before I used Beautyblender, but I didn’t know any better. Now, I know, and I will never go back.
So, if you are looking for a foundation applicator that is easy, affordable, AND effective – the Beautyblender is for you. But, don’t keep this secret to yourself, get them as Christmas gifts for your friends. You won’t be sorry!
